What kind of meals can I expect during my trek?

Meals are included in all of our trips. The travel itinerary detailed in your Challenge Information Pack contains further details.

Last updated on 28 Jul, 2023

On our overseas trekking challenges, examples of what your three daily meals could comprise include the following…

Breakfast: Tea/Coffee, porridge, fruit, toast, eggs, sausages, etc.

Lunch (packed): Sandwich, crisps, snack bar, fruit & drink.

Dinner: Chicken, fish or beef with vegetables and rice, pasta or potato.

NB. There will always be vegetarian options available to those who have requested.

Food provisions during your trek will be wholesome but basic, meaning that options can at times be limited, particularly for those with specific dietary requirements. Those who think they may struggle eating enough should consider bringing along a few additional supplies, which you should have a chance to purchase before your trek commences. This could be a pack of snack bars, dried fruit, crisps or even vegetables. The likelihood is that you won’t require these, but having a couple of extra provisions in your bag may help plug the gap if and when a particular meal isn’t quite enough for you.

We hope you found the above information useful. If you have any questions or concerns about the meal provisions at your particular destination, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to help.
