If you are travelling internationally, you will need to ensure the name under which you have registered matches exactly that which is displayed on your passport. This includes full first names. For instance, you may identify as “Sam”, but if the name that appears on your passport is “Samuel”, then this is what needs to be entered on your registration.
Passport Validity
The following information applies to UK citizens and/or British passport holders. Participants of other nationalities must check with their own government on entry requirements to their destination country. (Remember to use official websites only!)
Tanzania (Kilimanjaro) - Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of your visa application.
Nepal (Everest Base Camp) - Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of your visa application.
Peru (Machu Picchu) - Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of entry.
Morocco (High Atlas Mountains) - Your passport must be valid for at least three months from your date of entry.
Hungary (Budapest Marathon) - Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of entry.
Colombia (Lost City) - Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of entry.
France (London to Paris) - Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of entry.
Participants signed up to international trips are strongly urged to check the validity of their travel documents at the point of registration. If your passport expires within any of the above timeframes, then you should renew your document without delay.
Please note: Choose a Challenge requires your up-to-date passport information to confirm several components of your tour package, including flight bookings and National Park entry permits. If your passport details need to be updated within 10 weeks of travel, this will result in a penalty fee.
