How to look after your bike

Little and often is good: Clean your bike on a regular basis, keep the chain lightly lubricated and the tyres inflated to the recommended pressure, check your brakes and gears are free of impediments, clear any obstructions from the tyres and test your lights still work. If you do this monthly it’ll take less than half an hour each time, and no doubt extend the lifespan of your bike and its parts.
